Content Templates (implicit or explicit) can be categorized as transactional, promotional, or service-based.

The message text that you must request just on the DLT portal is meant to be referred to as the Content Template. The exact text of your bulk SMS must always be authorized by DLT whenever it is sent to your customers. A content template must always be submitted for every message users would really like to send bulk SMS to their clients in India. It applies to all bulk SMS routes, including transactional, promotional, and implicit and explicit services. The exact text of something which will be delivered to the customer should be included in the Content Template. A user can submit a template in the below format:

The following new online bulk SMS routes have already been added to the most recent TRAI regulations:

Transactional:

Banks are the only entities that can send OTP to their customers via the transactional route. Other bank-related messages, such as debited/credited amounts, account status, and so on, could be sent via the transactional route. This route is open to all banks, including national, scheduled, private, government, and multinational corporations. Sending OTP bulk sms service is only possible for banks via the transactional route.

Service Implicit:

Organizations and businesses can send crucial SMS pertaining to updates to their products and services using the Service Implicit route. Examples include the one-time password for order delivery; payment alerts; websites and apps; purchase details, and all other interesting and insightful messages.

Service Explicit:

After obtaining consent from the customer, the Service Explicit route can also be used to send marketing-related bulk SMS messages. Service Explicit messages fall under this category if a customer explicitly consents to receive promotional SMSes.

Promotional:

SMS that can only be delivered to non-DND numbers have always been categorized as promotional SMS, which includes all marketing-related SMS. Promotional messages that are sent there to promote services and brands fall under this category.

Users can either use the following samples or custom your consent templates through bulk sms service provider within the DLT portal, or you can modify them to suit your needs:

• Dear Customer, We appreciate your interest in<Brand or Entity Name>. Keeping you updated on our intriguing deals would make us very happy. Please provide your consent to keep receiving amazing offers from us via call/SMS.

• Dear Customer, Thank you for your interest <Brand or Entity Name>. We'd be delighted to keep you informed of new product introductions, occurrences, special deals, and discount coupons. Please provide your consent to continue getting amazing offers from us via call/SMS.

• Dear Clients, We would love to send interesting promotions and offers to our registered members via SMS/call regarding new offers. Please provide your permission. Regards <Brand or Entity Name>
